Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey
The team at Rocky Bay would like to invite customers and carers to take part in a survey regarding their mental health and wellbeing. This survey has been developed based on information from the Mental Health YES (Your Experience of Service) Survey and National Mental Health and Wellbeing Survey (2007).
Both surveys were developed with input from Carers and Consumers across Australia, support respect and inclusive practice, and the importance of hearing the carer and consumer voice. It will also enable Rocky Bay to benchmark against national statistics if required.
The purpose of this survey is to understand the mental health and wellbeing needs of the customers and carers that Rocky Bay staff support across Western Australia. We know that one in five people express concerns for their mental wellbeing at any time across Australia, and this statistic is higher for persons living with other health and disability needs.
We want to learn what the experience of our Rocky Bay customers and carers are regarding their mental health and wellbeing needs, to ensure we can develop the skills of our staff and organisations and their ability to best respond to these needs.
Participation in this survey is voluntary, however we encourage all staff to promote this survey, and support customers and carers if it is required.
