Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is the help provided to a person who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. Like physical first aid, mental health first aid is given until the person receives professional help or until the crisis resolves.
Rocky Bay offers a full course over two days, plus a four hour refresher for people who have previously completed the full course.
You will learn the skills and gain the confidence to be able to help someone who is struggling. The skills you learn are easily transferable from your professional and your personal life.
