Hanen: More Than Words

• Does your child have a confirmed Autism diagnosis or is on the waitlist for one?

• Do they struggle with playing or interacting with others?

Open up new possibilities for your child by better understanding where they are on their communication journey and becoming their biggest supporter. Children grow and learn at different rates, and as a parent, you can tell when something doesn’t feel right. We’re here to help you guide your child to reach their full potential.

Full program details as below:

• For: Parents or carers of children aged 3-6 years
• Location: Rocky Bay Rockingham
• Dates: 13 weekly sessions running from Wednesday 30 April – Wednesday 23 July
• Time: 10am – 1pm
• Funding: Improved Daily Living Skills (15) or fee for service

Delivered by a Hanen® certified speech pathologist, Hanen: More Than Words will help you to take everyday activities like meal time, story time and bath time and use them to help your child improve their communication and social skills.

• Session 6: Wednesday 4 June, Group session at our Rockingham Hub 
  
• Session 7: Week of 9 June, Individual session at your home 
  
• Session 8: Wednesday 18 June, Group session at our Rockingham Hub 
  
• Session 9: Wednesday 25 June, Group session at our Rockingham Hub 
  
• Session 10: Individual session at your home held between 30 June and 14 July 
  
• Session 11: Wednesday 23 July, Group session at our Rockingham Hub
