Rocky Bay Guest House customer Robert wowed audiences with his portrayal of Prince George in Blackadder the Third, cheered on by a supportive group of friends from the Beach House.

Robert, a regular at the Rockingham Guest House ‘the Beach House’, was very happy to see his group of friends from the Beach House come out to support him.

The Beach House customers made a night of the event, heading out to the Sporting Globe for dinner and dessert before the show.

Rocky Bay Lead Support Worker Nicole said customers Ben and Larissa enjoyed the show immensely.

“Ben enjoyed supporting Robert, as he has been involved with the theatre in the past,” Nicole said.

“Larissa showed all signs of enjoying the show, laughing in the right spots and enjoyed the costumes and hairstyles the men were wearing,” Nicole said.

Nicole said she was very impressed with Robert and the role he played.

“He was very professional and made for the stage,” Nicole said.

Robert is a very social man who loves to play cards and board games with staff, which he is very good at.

Of course, Robert is very passionate about the theatre and often shares with the Beach House staff his upcoming roles and even practices lines with them.

With past performances under his belt, his role in Blackadder the Third was a major one.

Set in a whimsically anachronistic version of the Regency Era, Blackadder the Third follows the sharp-witted but perpetually broke Edmund Blackadder, who serves as head butler to the Prince of Wales, an absurdly foppish and clueless royal.
