Neurological Rehabilitation

Neuro Rehabilitation (Neuro Rehab) is therapy for conditions that affect the brain and cognitive functions. Using innovative therapy techniques and advanced technology, Rocky Bay therapists can help to retrain our customers’ brains to assist with movement, speech, eating and much more.

Neuro Rehab is for customers of any age, and is appropriate for a large number of conditions or events including:

• Stroke
• Brain injury
• Spinal injury
• Guillain-Barre syndrome 
• Multiple sclerosis
• Spastic paraparesis
• Any other neurological condition

Rocky Bay has Speech Pathologists available across 10 hubs in the Perth metro, Peel and Geraldton regions; Ascot, Cockburn, Cottesloe, Duncraig, Geraldton, Gosnells, Joondalup, Mandurah, Mosman Park and Rockingham.

You can access services if you have an NDIS plan, Disability Services Commission funding, Medicare or if you want to fund your own services. We can also support you through the planning process if you do not have a plan already. NDIS funding is used through Improved Daily Living Skills (15 codes).

Rocky Bay’s therapy team follow The National Guidelines for Best Practice in Early Childhood Intervention for children under 7, working with the team around the child (caregivers, teachers, other therapists) to support health, development and learning.
